Biography
Originating from Rimouski, Gino has been facinated by the unusual since his infancy. Keen on martial arts since the age of 6, his master Shao-lin impressed him with his prowess in the art of fakirs. As a teenager, Gino began to emulate his master. Gino walked on broken glass at the age of 14. Imagine how others perceived him!

After doing a few presentations of martial arts and of the art of fakirs, Gino wanted to increase his repertory. He began to develop his skill in escaping from chains, tied hands, ropes and strait jackets. It is after a show including fakir, martial arts and escape that Gino changed his view on magic when he met a magician that amazed him. He understood that he had everything to win by perfecting his magic and the art of illusion to make his performances more successful. It’s by studying further the art of magic that he discovered three other disciplines practiced by very few adepts: fire, bubble sculptures and hand shadow; three very demanding disciplines that some would take a life to master. Now, he is not known only as a magician, a fakir, a fire swallower and spitter, an escape artist, a bubble sculptor, a man of multiple shadow images, but they name him the master of the variety.

It’s not too long ago that Gino decided to combine all his talents into one show: Utopia, a one of a kind show in the world, a variety that unites all the fantastic numbers. People may say it’s impossible; it cannot be done. He can and will convince you that the impossible is possible and that reality can become unreal, unbelievable. Welcome to the mirage of the unreal; here is his Utopia.
